CAUSES

medical Eye checkup

At the Devraha Baba Jan Kalyan Trust (DBT), we recognize the crucial role that regular eye check-ups play in promoting overall health and well-being, particularly for underserved communities. Many individuals in these communities face the risk of avoidable blindness due to limited access to essential eye care services. Our commitment to improving vision health is rooted in the belief that early detection and treatment are vital in combating issues such as cataracts and refractive errors.

Extend Your Hand,
Ignite Change

Together, let’s provide essential eye care and make the world a better place for everyone.

By focusing on communities in need—such as older adults, children, and women—we aim to address the challenges they face in accessing eye care.

  • Older Adults: Many elderly individuals experience age-related vision issues that significantly affect their quality of life.
  • Children: Early detection of refractive errors in children is essential for their educational development and overall well-being.
  • Women: Women often encounter barriers to healthcare access including eye care.

To bridge these gaps, we conduct regular eye camps in rural areas, where healthcare facilities may be scarce. These camps provide free eye check-ups by trained professionals and necessary referrals for further treatment. Our screening programs help in identifying vision problems or eye conditions that could even lead to vision loss, at the early stage and access treatments.

With the belief eye health is essential for improving lives, at DBT, our efforts have led to numerous achievements, including the successful organization of 12+ eye camps with the screening of 600+ patients in a short span of time.

We aim to reach more individuals in need, making eye health accessible to all.
